Description

This is the left-handed tremolo arm for the Floyd Rose Original series — the whammy bar itself, gold-finished stainless steel, 6mm diameter and 80mm in length. If your arm is stripped, bent, seized in the collar, or simply missing, this is the direct replacement. It ships as a complete assembly.

Fit is series-specific and the handedness matters. The shaft diameter, the thread or push-in collar geometry, and the bend angle all differ between Floyd Rose generations — an Original-series arm will not seat correctly in a Floyd Rose Pro, Special, or 1000-series bridge. Left-handed arms are bent the opposite direction from right-handed ones and are not interchangeable. If you are fitting this to a left-handed guitar that takes an Original-series Floyd Rose, you are in the right place. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, check the saddle block and bridge plate for markings before ordering.

The shaft is stainless steel with a gold finish. Stainless holds up where chrome-plated arms corrode or strip at the collar threads — the usual failure point on a heavily used arm. The gold finish is matched to gold-hardware Floyd Rose Original bridges.

Not sure this is the right arm for your guitar? Send us the make, model and year and we'll confirm before you order.
