This is the complete tremolo arm assembly for Floyd Rose Original series bridges, finished in black. The arm drops into the collar on the bridge block and gives you whammy bar control. Stainless steel construction, 6mm diameter shaft, 80mm length. The assembly includes the arm itself — everything that goes into the collar socket.
Fit is series-specific and this is where most mistakes happen. The shaft diameter, thread pitch, push-in collar design and arm bend all differ between Floyd Rose generations. This arm is cut and bent for the Original series only. It will not seat correctly in a Floyd Rose Special, 1000 series, Pro, or non-Floyd licensed bridge. Left-handed arms are bent the opposite way and cannot be swapped with right-handed ones — this listing is for right-hand players.
Stainless steel is the right material for an arm that takes constant lateral torque at the collar. Pot-metal arms deform at the thread or spin loose after a few months of use. If your current arm has a wobbly collar fit or stripped thread, check the collar itself before ordering — a worn collar seat will chew through a new arm the same way.
If you are not certain this arm matches your bridge, send us the make, model and year of your guitar and we will confirm the fit before you order.
