This is the replacement tremolo arm for a left-handed Floyd Rose Original bridge. It drops into the arm collet on the bridge body and gives you back the whammy travel you lost when the original bent, stripped its tip, or went missing. The arm is stainless steel with a black finish, 6mm in diameter and 80mm in length.
Arm fit is series-specific and this matters before you order. The shaft diameter, the collar engagement — whether threaded or push-in — and the direction of the bend all differ between Floyd Rose generations. An Original-series arm will not seat correctly in a Floyd Rose 1000-series or Special bridge, and vice versa. Left-handed arms are bent the opposite way to right-handed ones and are not interchangeable with them. Check which series your bridge is before you buy.
Stainless steel holds up better than the zinc arms that come stock on some variants — it resists the surface wear that eventually makes a loose, rattling fit in the collet. Black finish matches the black Original hardware.
If you are not certain which series or handedness applies to your bridge, send us the make, model and year of your guitar and we will confirm the right part before you order.
