The insert block sits inside the saddle and clamps the string end when the locking screw is tightened. When the block deforms or the screw head rounds out, the saddle loses its grip — the string slips under tension and the bridge stops returning to pitch. This set of six replaces all of them at once, so every saddle clamps with the same bite.

These are made for the Floyd Rose Original series. Insert blocks are not interchangeable across series — the geometry of the saddle pocket decides the fit. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, pull a saddle and check the casting before ordering. Mixing series parts is the fastest way to end up with a clamp that either strips immediately or does not seat at all.

Material is hardened steel with a black finish, same spec as the originals. Hardened steel resists the deformation that soft inserts show after a handful of string changes — the locking face stays flat and the screw torques down cleanly rather than chewing into the block.
