These are the insert blocks that sit inside each saddle and grip the string end when the lock screw is tightened. When one deforms or a screw head rounds off, the saddle stops clamping cleanly — the string slips under tension and the bridge cannot hold pitch. This set of six replaces the full complement across all three saddles.
Fit is series-specific. These blocks are made for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series. They will not necessarily interchange with Original Series, Special Series or other Floyd Rose platforms, even where the saddles look identical. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, check the saddle body for a stamped designation or send us the make, model and year before ordering.
Material is hardened steel with a black finish. The hardening matters: softer inserts deform faster under the clamping load, and a deformed block puts uneven pressure on the string wrap, which can cause the string to seat inconsistently after each change. Buying in a full set of six means every saddle is clamping with the same geometry rather than mixing old and new blocks.
Not sure this is the right part for your guitar — send us the make, model and year and we will confirm before you order.
