The Floyd Rose FRNFTBPBP is a replacement base plate for Floyd Rose Non-Fine Tuner tremolo systems. The base plate is the foundation the entire bridge assembly sits on — when it cracks, strips, corrodes or warps, the system loses the stable anchor point it needs to return to pitch. This part replaces it.
Fit is series-specific. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware that looks identical across generations is often cut to different dimensions, and the Non-Fine Tuner series is its own geometry. If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is installed in your guitar, confirm that before ordering — a base plate from the wrong series will not seat correctly regardless of how close it looks.
Machined from hardened steel with a black finish. The hardened steel construction is what the original spec calls for; softer substitutes wear at the pivot contact points and at the mounting surface, which is how base plates fail in the first place.
If you are not certain this is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm it fits before you order.
