These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. Each saddle clamps the string at the bridge end, and when a saddle cracks, strips its locking screw, or wears enough to shift the intonation, the whole system becomes unreliable. This is the factory-matched replacement set for that bridge.
Fit is specific to the 1000 Series — saddles are not interchangeable between Floyd Rose generations, even where the profiles look close. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, check the stamp on the sustain block or the base plate before ordering. This set ships as six saddles: replacing the full set keeps the string heights consistent across the board. Mixing new saddles with worn ones leaves the radius uneven and the action inconsistent string to string.
The saddles are hardened steel with a satin chrome finish, matching the hardware on 1000 Series bridges built to that spec. Hardened steel resists the string wear and clamping stress that softer alloys develop into buzzing or saddle rock over time.
If you are not sure whether FR1BSSSC is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit.
