These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. Each saddle grips the string at the bridge end — the clamp screw bears down on the string directly in the block, which is where tuning stability starts or fails. If a saddle is stripped, cracked or the clamp screw no longer seats cleanly, the string will not hold pitch no matter how well the nut is locked. This set of six replaces all of them at once.
Fit is series-specific. These saddles are cut for the 1000 Series and do not transfer to other Floyd Rose generations or licensed variants, even where the physical profile looks close. Beyond that, the set matters: saddle height determines your string radius across the neck. Drop in one or two new saddles alongside worn originals and the radius goes uneven — some strings sit higher, the feel changes, and intonation becomes harder to hold. Replace the full set of six together.
Material is hardened steel with a chrome finish. Hardened steel resists the point loading at the string contact and the clamp screw torque that softer material does not survive long-term. Chrome is the stock finish on the 1000 Series bridge.
If you are not certain whether your bridge is a genuine 1000 Series unit, send us the make, model and year of your guitar and we will confirm the fit before you order.
