These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. Each saddle clamps the string at the bridge end, taking half the load in the double-locking system. When a saddle cracks, strips its clamping screw, or loses its string slot to years of steel-on-steel wear, the string won't lock flat and the bridge won't return to pitch consistently. This set of six replaces the full complement in one go.

Fit is series-specific. These saddles are cut for the 1000 Series and do not transfer to other Floyd Rose generations, even where the parts look the same side by side. The set covers all six string positions so the string heights stay consistent across the board — if you mix new saddles with worn ones, the radius comes out uneven and action varies string to string. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, check the saddle block or the tremolo baseplate for a series marking before ordering.

The saddles are hardened steel finished in antique bronze, matching the 1000 Series hardware in that finish. Hardened steel resists the groove wear that softer saddle materials accelerate under wound strings, particularly on the low strings where the winding digs in.
