These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose Special series bridge — the six steel blocks that clamp each string at the break point and carry it across the saddle radius. When a saddle is worn, cracked, or stripped at the locking screw, the string either slips under load or won't seat cleanly at the correct height. Replacing the full set restores the geometry the bridge was built around.

Fit is generation-specific. These saddles are cut for the Special series and do not drop into other Floyd Rose families — not the Original, not the 1000 series, not the Pro — even where the assemblies look close at a glance. Sold as a set of six because saddle height is what builds your fretboard radius across the strings: swapping one or two new saddles into a worn set leaves the radius uneven and the action inconsistent string to string. Replace all six together.

Material is hardened steel with an antique bronze finish. The hardened steel matters at the saddle because the string clamp bolt bears directly into it under tension; softer material rounds out the clamping surface over time, which is the failure mode that brings most of these saddles in for replacement.
