Ibanez produced the LGB300VYS as part of the GB Signature Series, positioning it as a hollow body electric guitar within the Prestige-tier signature line. The model carried the Vintage Yellow Sunburst finish designation and was built around a set-in neck construction.
The guitar was built with a spruce top and maple back and sides, paired with a three-piece maple LGB-profile neck set into the body. The bound ebony fretboard carried acrylic and abalone block inlays across 22 medium frets, with Prestige fret edge treatment applied throughout. The bone nut measures 45mm in width.
