Description

Ibanez produced the PS120LBK as part of its PS Signature Series, positioning it as a signature-platform electric guitar finished in Black. The model carried a set-in neck construction with a smooth heel joint, placing it in the upper tier of Ibanez's bolt-on-alternative lineup where neck access and sustain were priorities.

The body combined an Okoume core with a Maple top, and the three-piece Okoume PS-profile neck joined a bound Ebony fretboard dressed with Acrylic and Abalone block inlays across 22 medium frets. A Bone nut at 43mm width fed string tension down a 628mm (24.7") scale to a Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece, both finished in Chrome hardware. The 10.5mm string spacing and a fretboard radius of 305mmR defined the playing geometry, with neck thickness running 20mm at the first fret and 23.5mm at the twelfth. Electronics consisted of a Seymour Duncan '59 Model humbucker at the neck and a Seymour Duncan Custom 5 humbucker at the bridge, both passive Alnico designs. The guitar left the factory strung with D'Addario EXL110s (.010–.046) in standard tuning.
