Ibanez built the PS10BK as part of the PS Signature Series, positioning it as a set-neck electric guitar within the Prestige-influenced signature range. The finish is Black.

The three-piece Maple neck joins the African Mahogany body via a set-in construction with a smooth heel. A Maple top sits over the body. The bound Ebony fretboard carries Acrylic and Abalone block inlays across 22 medium frets, which received Ibanez's Prestige fret edge treatment. Neck dimensions measure 43mm at the nut, 57mm at the 22nd fret, with thickness running 20.5mm at the first fret and 23.5mm at the 12th; the radius is 305mm. The Half-Bone/Half-Brass nut is cut to a 43mm width. A Gotoh GE103B-T tune-o-matic bridge with 10.4mm string spacing and a Gotoh GE101Z-T tailpiece handle string anchoring, finished in Chrome.
