Description

Ibanez built the PS10BK as part of the PS Signature Series, positioning it as a set-neck electric guitar within the Prestige-influenced signature range. The finish is Black.

The three-piece Maple neck joins the African Mahogany body via a set-in construction with a smooth heel. A Maple top sits over the body. The bound Ebony fretboard carries Acrylic and Abalone block inlays across 22 medium frets, which received Ibanez's Prestige fret edge treatment. Neck dimensions measure 43mm at the nut, 57mm at the 22nd fret, with thickness running 20.5mm at the first fret and 23.5mm at the 12th; the radius is 305mm. The Half-Bone/Half-Brass nut is cut to a 43mm width. A Gotoh GE103B-T tune-o-matic bridge with 10.4mm string spacing and a Gotoh GE101Z-T tailpiece handle string anchoring, finished in Chrome. Electronics consist of a Seymour Duncan '59 Model humbucker at the neck and a Seymour Duncan Custom 5 humbucker at the bridge, both passive Alnico designs. The guitar left the factory strung with D'Addario EXL120s (.009–.042) in standard E tuning at a 628mm / 24.7" scale.

Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the Gotoh GE103B-T and GE101Z-T are still-catalogued Gotoh components, and standard humbucker-sized Seymour Duncan replacements remain widely available; a qualified guitar technician can advise on fit and setup compatibility for this specific neck profile and nut configuration.
