The SR Series was long associated with lightweight, contoured bodies and thin neck profiles aimed at players who found conventional bass necks unwieldy.
The SR305EIPT was constructed with a Nyatoh body and a five-piece Maple/Walnut SR5 neck, the laminated construction contributing to rigidity across the longer string span. The Jatoba fretboard carried white dot inlays and medium frets, with a 305mm radius and a nut width of 45mm widening to 68mm at the 24th fret — dimensions relevant when sourcing a replacement nut or evaluating string spacing compatibility.
