Washburn positioned the WD7SATB within its Harvest Series as a dreadnought acoustic guitar, offering a solid solid Sitka spruce top over mahogany back and sides — a traditional pairing intended to balance clarity with warmth across the frequency range.
The top was braced with quarter-sawn scalloped Sitka spruce bracing, and the body carried a custom wood inlay rosette. The satin mahogany neck featured a two-way truss rod and joined a rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. Nut material was ABS at a width of 43mm. The rosewood bridge accepted a standard saddle, and the headstock was fitted with chrome diecast tuners. The guitar shipped strung with a D'Addario EXP-16 light phosphor bronze set. No onboard electronics or preamp system was fitted. A deluxe case (GCDNDLX) was listed as a separate item.
