Washburn built the WD7SATB-O-U as part of the Harvest Series, positioning it as a dreadnought acoustic with a solid top at an entry-to-mid-level tier of the acoustic line. The model carried a Tobacco Sunburst gloss finish on the body with a satin-finished neck, and shipped strung with a D'Addario EXP-16 light phosphor bronze set.
The top is solid spruce, braced with quarter-sawn scalloped Sitka spruce bracing internally. Back and sides are mahogany, and the neck — also mahogany — carries a two-way truss rod adjustable for relief. The fingerboard and bridge are both Ovangkol, with dot inlays across 20 frets. Nut material is ABS at 1-11/16" width, scale length is 25-1/2", and the Washburn Heritage rosette completes the top's detailing. Hardware throughout is chrome, including diecast tuning machines.
