Washburn built the EA10B as part of its Festival Series, positioning it as an acoustic-electric instrument with a Petite Jumbo Cutaway body shape. The line was aimed at players who needed amplified acoustic performance in a slightly smaller-than-full-jumbo package.
The body — top, back, and sides — is Basswood, braced with Quarter Sawn Scalloped Sitka Spruce. The neck is Mahogany fitted with a two-way truss rod, and the Rosewood fretboard carries dot inlays across 19 frets. The nut is a Graphtech Nubone unit at 43mm width, and the scale length is 24 inches. Abalone rosette trim rings the soundhole. Electronics are handled by the EQ4T preamp system. The Rosewood bridge anchors the strings, and Chrome Diecast tuners are fitted at the headstock. The instrument shipped strung with D'Addario EXP-16 light phosphor bronze strings.
