- Finish
- Open Pore Natural Browned Burst
Ibanez produced the PN19ONB as part of its PF Series, positioning the model as a parlor-body acoustic guitar finished in Open Pore Natural Browned Burst. The open-pore finish treatment was a defining characteristic of this variant within the line, leaving the wood surface without a thick lacquer film.
The PN19ONB was built around a spruce top paired with okoume back and sides, with a nyatoh neck and a laurel fretboard and bridge. The fretboard carries white dot inlays and runs to 18 frets. A black-and-white multi-layer soundhole rosette and chrome open-gear machine heads complete the hardware. The nut and saddle are plastic, and the bridge accepts Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. The guitar shipped strung with Ibanez IACS6C strings gauged .012/.016/.024/.032/.042/.053 at standard tuning. The scale length is 628.65mm, the nut width measures 42mm, fretboard radius is 240mmR, and neck thickness runs 21mm at the first fret and 22.5mm at the seventh fret. String spacing at the bridge is 11mm.
Owners seeking setup adjustments, nut or saddle replacements, or compatible bridge pins should consult a qualified luthier or guitar technician, who can verify fit against the instrument's dimensions directly.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
