Schecter built the Nick Johnston USA Signature — catalogued under item number 7051 and finished in Atomic Snow — as a domestically produced instrument bearing the full Traditional designation within the Nick Johnston signature line. Its bolt-on construction and SSS pickup layout placed it firmly in the single-coil, vintage-influenced tier of Schecter's USA Custom Shop output.
The neck was machined from wenge with a contoured four-bolt joint and finished in a vintage satin treatment, shaped to a Custom C profile measuring .825" at the first fret and .865" at the twelfth. Macassar ebony formed the fretboard, carrying 22 Jescar Premium German Silver frets over a 14" radius, with silver ring inlays and silver side dot markers. The nut was a Graphtech Black Tusq unit cut to 1.67" width, and the truss rod adjusted via a spoke wheel. An alder body accepted a Schecter Vintage 2-Point Tremolo bridge in chrome, while Schecter/Hipshot Staggered Locking Tuners with a natural-finish headstock completed the hardware complement. The control layout consisted of a master volume and master tone paired with a 5-way slider switch governing the Nick Johnston Signature Atomic Set pickups in SSS configuration.
