The Schecter 6439 SuperRock Vintage is a bridge pickup for six-string electric guitar. It is wound to 9.0k ohms — enough output to push an amp into natural breakup, but not so hot that it loses note separation in a chord. The 4-conductor harness supports coil splitting, so a push-pull or mini-toggle on the volume pot will cut it to single-coil output without swapping the pickup. The Alnico V magnets are direct-coupled to the pole pieces, which keeps the magnetic field tight and the attack responsive.

Two things decide whether this pickup fits before you order: pole spacing and string count. This pickup is wound for six strings at 53mm tremolo spacing — that is the wider bridge spacing a floating tremolo requires. A neck-spaced pickup sits narrower and will leave your outer strings sitting off the pole pieces at the bridge position. Seven- and eight-string pickups are a different format entirely. You also need to confirm whether your body routes for a direct-mount or ring-mount pickup; the baseplate holes and the cavity depth have to line up with what is already in the guitar.

The baseplate is solid nickel/silver. Pole pieces are six nickel-plated carbon steel slugs at 0.1875" diameter, with six corresponding nickel-plated carbon steel #5 slot pan head Phillips screws. Both parts are carbon steel — they will attract a magnet, which is the quick bench check if you are sorting through a parts tray.
