Schecter built the Demon-7 LH (item 3667) as a left-handed, seven-string variant within its Demon series, positioned as an extended-range instrument with active electronics and a hardtail configuration. It was constructed with a bolt-on neck joint and featured an arched top body of basswood with aged creme 1-ply binding, finished in Satin Black.
The maple neck carried a Thin 'C' profile — measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth — and was topped with a wenge fretboard bearing grey pearloid gothic cross inlays. The 16" radius fretboard ran 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 26.5" (673mm) baritone scale, with a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 1.889" (48mm) width accommodating the seven-course string spread. A 2-way adjustable truss rod with a 5/32" (4mm) allen nut provided neck relief adjustment. Both bridge and neck positions housed Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S humbuckers, powered through a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment and routed through a Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch arrangement with metal knurled knobs. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge used string-through-body anchoring. All hardware was finished in black chrome. Schecter-branded tuners and Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 strings (.010–.056, #2621) completed the specification.
