Schecter built the Jinxx Recluse-FR as a signature model positioned within its artist signature line, finished in Satin Black and manufactured in South Korea. The guitar was constructed with a set-neck joint featuring Ultra Access, pairing a mahogany body with a three-piece maple neck reinforced by carbon fiber rods — a configuration Schecter employed for added rigidity across the neck's length.
The neck carries an Ultra Thin 'C' profile, measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth, and terminates at a Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut with a 1.625" width. The 25.5" scale ebony fretboard runs 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 14" radius, with a flat top body featuring a bevel edge and black single-ply binding throughout. Hardware is finished in satin black, including Grover tuners and a Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge. Both pickup positions carry EMG 81 active humbuckers, controlled via a volume/volume/3-way switch arrangement with metal knurled knobs. Active electronics are powered through a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. The guitar shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (.010–.046).
