Schecter built the Sin Quirin V-1 as a signature instrument for Sin Quirin, positioned within the 247 series. The model carried item number 248 and was finished in Satin Black. Construction followed a set-neck with Ultra Access joint on a mahogany body, paired with a three-piece maple neck and an ebony fretboard — a combination Schecter employed for sustain and tonal clarity in the higher-gain end of its catalogue.
The neck ran a 25.5-inch scale across 24 X-jumbo frets on a 14-inch radius board, with a Thin 'C' profile measuring 0.787 inches at the first fret and 0.866 inches at the twelfth. The nut was a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq unit at 1.653 inches wide, clamped by Schecter locking tuners. A TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic with string-through-body anchoring handled intonation and sustain at the bridge end. Active electronics consisted of an EMG 57 at the bridge and an EMG 66 at the neck, routed through a volume/volume/tone layout on a three-way switch, with power supplied by a clip-in 9-volt battery compartment. Hardware throughout was finished in black, including metal knurled knobs secured with set screws. The twelfth-fret inlay was a Mother of Pearl Sin Symbol; side markers were glow-in-the-dark dots. The truss rod accepted a 5/32-inch Allen key for two-way adjustment. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings. A case was sold separately under the SGR-8V designation.
