Schecter built the Miles Dimitri Baker SVSS as a signature model positioned within its artist series. The guitar was constructed neck-through with Ultra Access, finished in Crimson Red Burst Satin, and shipped from Indonesia.
The three-piece Maple neck incorporates Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rods and a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, topped with a Maple fretboard radiused at 14" (355mm). Twenty-four X-Jumbo Stainless Steel frets sit across a 25.5" (648mm) scale, with Offset/Reverse Black Circle inlays and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots for orientation under stage lighting. The Swamp Ash body carries a Quilted Maple top with a flat contour and Black 1-ply binding. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut at 1.625" (41.3mm) handle tuning stability, with Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners at the headstock. The two-way adjustable truss rod is accessed via a heel-mounted spoke wheel. Pickups are a Seymour Duncan Pegasus at the bridge and Seymour Duncan Sentient at the neck, routed through a single Volume control and 5-Way switch. All hardware is finished in black. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Super Slinky .009–.042 strings; the SGR-1C case was sold separately.
Owners sourcing replacement parts — particularly Floyd Rose 1500 Series components, Seymour Duncan pickups, or Grover Rotomatic tuners — should verify measurements against the physical instrument and consult a qualified guitar technician for setup and installation guidance.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
