Schecter built the Omen-4 LH as a left-handed, four-string electric bass positioned in the entry-to-mid tier of the Omen series. Manufactured in Indonesia, it was offered in Gloss Black with black chrome hardware and ivory single-ply binding against an arched-top basswood body.
The maple neck is bolt-on with a six-bolt construction and a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. The rosewood fretboard carries 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 16" radius, with pearloid semi-goth inlays. Nut duties are handled by a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq at 1.496" width, and a two-way adjustable truss rod with a 5/32" allen nut manages neck relief. The 34" scale runs to a Diamond Bass bridge. Both neck and bridge positions carry Schecter Diamond Bass pickups — active units drawing from an onboard 9-volt clip-in battery compartment — controlled by a single volume knob with a metal knurled set-screw design. Schecter tuners and Ernie Ball 4-String Super Long strings (.045–.105) completed the factory specification.
