Schecter positioned the Omen-6 LH as a left-handed entry in the Omen series, built around a bolt-on construction with a basswood body featuring an arched top and ivory single-ply binding. The instrument carried a 25.5-inch scale length and was manufactured in Indonesia.
The maple neck was carved to a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .787 inches at the first fret and .866 inches at the twelfth, and was fitted with a rosewood fretboard carrying 24 X-jumbo frets at a 14-inch radius. Pearloid Semi-Goth inlays marked the positions. The nut was a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq at 1.653 inches wide, backed by a two-way adjustable truss rod accessed with a 5/32-inch Allen key. Both pickup positions used Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, routed through a volume control, a tone control, and a three-way switch. Hardware throughout was finished in black chrome, including the metal knurled knobs with set screws and the Schecter-branded tuners. The bridge was a tune-o-matic with string-through-body anchoring. Strings were factory-fitted with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.
