Schecter built the Omen Extreme-7 LH as a left-handed, seven-string entry in the Omen Extreme series, positioning it as an extended-range instrument with a bolt-on construction and a quilted maple top over a mahogany body. The arched top and creme multi-ply binding marked it out visually within the broader Omen line.
The maple neck carries a thin 'C' profile and was fitted with a rosewood fretboard, 24 X-jumbo frets, and a 16" (406mm) radius suited to both chording and single-note work. The 26.5" (673mm) baritone scale and 1.889" (48mm) Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut accommodate the seven-string configuration. A two-way adjustable truss rod accepts a 5/32" (4mm) Allen key. Hardware is finished in black chrome throughout: a Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body anchoring, Schecter tuners, and metal knurled knobs with set screws. Each position carries a Schecter Diamond Plus humbucker, with the tone control on a push-pull pot alongside a standard three-way toggle. The instrument was strung from the factory with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 (.010–.056).
