Schecter positioned the Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 FR LH (item 1929) as a left-handed, Floyd Rose-equipped variant within the Hellraiser Hybrid series, built in South Korea. The model combined active EMG pickup electronics with a quilted maple top over a mahogany body, placing it in the higher tier of Schecter's production lineup for players who required a floating tremolo system and left-handed orientation.
Construction is set-neck with Ultra Access, using a three-piece maple neck profiled to an Ultra Thin 'C' shape — measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth — and an ebony fretboard with a 12"-16" compound radius. Twenty-four X-Jumbo frets sit over MOP Offset/Reverse Dot inlays with a Gothic Cross at the twelfth fret. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge pairs with a Floyd Rose locking nut at 1.625" width, and tuning stability is managed by Grover tuners. Pickups are an EMG 57 at the bridge and EMG 66 at the neck, both in brushed black chrome covers, routed through a Volume/Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch arrangement with metal knurled knobs; a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment serves the active electronics. Hardware throughout is black chrome. The arched quilted maple top is bound in carbon fiber multi-ply, and the guitar was available in Trans Black Burst. Schecter shipped the instrument with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010–.046); a case was sold separately.
