Schecter built the Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 LH as a left-handed entry in the Hellraiser Hybrid series, positioning it toward players seeking active electronics and a multi-wood construction in a set-neck platform. Item number 1928, finished in Trans Black Burst, it carried the series' defining combination of a mahogany body with a quilted maple top and a three-piece maple neck joined via Schecter's Ultra Access set-neck joint.
The 25.5" (648mm) scale neck is carved to an Ultra Thin 'C' profile — .748" (19mm) at the first fret, .787" (20mm) at the twelfth — and topped with an ebony fretboard carrying 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 12"–16" compound radius. Mother-of-pearl offset/reverse dot inlays run the length of the board, with a Gothic Cross at the twelfth fret. Nut duties fall to a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq unit at 1.653" (42mm) wide, with a two-way adjustable truss rod accessible via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen key. Electronics consist of an EMG 57 at the bridge and an EMG 66 at the neck, both in brushed black chrome covers, routed through a Volume/Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch layout with metal knurled knobs and powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. The TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic bridge couples with string-through-body anchoring, all finished in black chrome hardware. Carbon fiber multi-ply binding and an arched quilted maple top complete the visual package. Schecter locking tuners are fitted at the headstock, and the guitar shipped with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010–.046).
