Schecter built the Reaper-7 Multiscale as a seven-string, multiscale (fan-fret) instrument positioned within its Reaper series. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joint paired with a Swamp Ash body and Burl top, finished in Satin Inferno Burst. Country of origin was Indonesia.
The neck was a multi-ply Maple and Walnut construction reinforced with Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rods, finished with an Ultra Thin 'C' profile measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. The Ebony fretboard carried 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets at a 20" radius, with a fanned scale running 25.5" on the treble side to 27" on the bass side. The 48mm Graphite nut and 2-Way Adjustable truss rod with 5/32" Allen nut are standard service points. Hardware was finished in Black and Chrome. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body anchoring accepted the factory-fitted Ernie Ball seven-string set (.009–.062). Both bridge and neck positions carried Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups, controlled via a Volume, a Push-Pull Tone, and a 3-Way Switch, with Metal Knurled set-screw knobs. Tuners were Schecter-branded units.
Owners sourcing replacement parts — particularly Hipshot Hardtail saddles, Narrow X-Jumbo fretwire, or a compatible 48mm multiscale nut blank — should verify dimensions against the physical instrument; a qualified luthier or guitar technician can confirm fit and carry out any setup work specific to the fanned-fret geometry.
