Schecter positioned the Reaper-6 FR (item 1505) as a high-output, extended-performance electric guitar within its Reaper series, built in Indonesia. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joined a swamp ash body topped with burl, finished in Satin Inferno Burst. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and locking nut made the instrument a platform for aggressive tremolo use.
The multi-ply maple/walnut neck was reinforced with carbon fiber rods and carved to an Ultra Thin 'C' profile, measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. The 25.5" scale ebony fretboard carries 24 X-jumbo frets at a 14" radius, with a nut width of 1.625". Both pickup positions use Schecter Diamond Decimator humbuckers, wired to a volume, a push-pull tone control, and a 3-way switch; knobs are metal knurled with set screws. Hardware is finished in black and chrome. The flat-top body features a bevel edge, and the neck is equipped with a 2-way adjustable truss rod accessed with a 5/32" allen key. Pearloid offset/reverse dot inlays mark the fretboard positions. Factory strings were Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.
