Schecter positioned the C-7 Multiscale SLS Elite LH within its upper-tier SLS (S-Series Loaded with Schecter) range as a left-handed, seven-string multiscale instrument built for extended-range players requiring precise intonation and high-output active electronics. The neck-thru-body construction with Ultra Access was paired with a swamp ash body, a flamed maple top, and a multi-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods — a specification aimed at long-term stability across a fanned fret system spanning 25.5" at the neck position to 27" at the bridge.
The ebony fretboard carries 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets on a 20" radius with abalone offset/reverse dot inlays and a 1.889" graphite nut. A Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body stringing is finished in black hardware and anchors the multiscale geometry. Electronics consist of a Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker with ceramic magnet at the bridge and an alnico magnet version at the neck, both routed through a volume and tone control — each a push-pull pot — and a 3-way switch; the active circuit draws from a 9-volt clip-in battery. Schecter locking tuners and black 1-ply binding complete the specification. The instrument ships strung with Ernie Ball 7-string gauges (.009–.062).
Owners seeking setup guidance, fret work, or hardware sourcing on this instrument should consult a qualified luthier or guitar technician familiar with multiscale, neck-thru construction and active Fishman Fluence systems.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
