Schecter positioned the C-7 SLS Elite LH as a high-specification left-handed seven-string in the SLS (Sustainable Tonewoods Series) Elite tier, built with neck-thru construction and Ultra Access for unobstructed reach to the upper frets. The instrument was finished in Black Fade Burst over a flamed maple top.
The multi-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carried an ebony fretboard with a 12"–16" compound radius, 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets, and abalone offset/reverse dot inlays. The 26.5" baritone scale paired with an Ultra Thin 'C' profile measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. A swamp ash body with arched top and ivory single-ply binding housed a Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body stringing. Electronics consisted of a Fishman Fluence Modern ceramic-magnet humbucker at the bridge and a Fishman Fluence Modern alnico-magnet humbucker at the neck, both active and drawing from a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. Push-pull volume and tone controls with a 3-way switch governed the pickup selection. An Ernie Ball Compensated Nut at 1.889" (48mm) and Schecter locking tuners completed the hardware, all finished in black.
