Schecter positioned the C-1 FR SLS Elite LH as a left-handed entry in its SLS (Select) Elite tier, built around a neck-thru construction with Ultra Access and a swamp ash body capped with a flamed maple top. The left-handed configuration and Black Fade Burst finish were the defining identifiers of item number 1361 within the C-1 FR SLS Elite line. Country of origin is South Korea.
The multi-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck incorporates carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carries an ebony fretboard with 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets across a 25.5" (648mm) scale. The compound 12"–16" fretboard radius and Ultra Thin 'C' profile — measuring .748" (19mm) at the first fret and .787" (20mm) at the twelfth — define the playing geometry. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching 1500 Series locking nut (1.625" / 41.3mm) handle tuning stability. Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners, ivory 1-ply binding, and metal knurled set-screw knobs complete the hardware complement, all finished in black. Electronics consist of a Fishman Fluence Modern ceramic-magnet humbucker at the bridge and a Fishman Fluence Modern alnico-magnet humbucker at the neck, with volume and tone controls each fitted as push-pull pots alongside a 3-way switch; the active Fluence system is powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. Abalone offset/reverse dot inlays and abalone side dot markers appear on the ebony board. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings.
Owners requiring Floyd Rose 1500 Series replacement parts, Fishman Fluence battery or pickup service, or neck-thru truss rod adjustment via the heel-access spoke wheel should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with double-locking tremolo systems.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
