Description

Dunlop positioned the MXR Phase 95 as a compact, dual-circuit phaser pedal housed in a mini enclosure. It combined the Phase 45 and Phase 90 phaser circuits within a single unit, with a dedicated 45/90 toggle switch allowing the owner to select between the two circuits. A second toggle, labelled Script, switched between modern and vintage style phasing characteristics on either circuit.

The pedal operated on 8 mA at 9VDC, drawing minimal current from a standard power supply. Input impedance measured 800 kΩ and output impedance ran below 6 kΩ. The maximum input level was rated at -8 dBV and maximum output at 8 dBV, with a noise floor of -95 dBV. The Speed control swept from 0.125 Hz to 10 Hz, covering slow, wide sweeps through to fast rotary-style modulation. The mini housing format made it suited to space-constrained pedalboards.
