Dunlop produced the MXR Phase 90 (M101-U) as a single-knob phaser pedal within the MXR effects line. The unit offered a continuously variable phasing sweep, from subtle spatial modulation through to high-velocity, wide-sweep phasing, controlled by a single Speed knob.
The Phase 90 operated on a 9-volt DC power supply and drew 5 mA of current. Input impedance measured 1 MΩ and output impedance 10 kΩ, with a nominal operating level of -20 dBV at both input and output. The noise floor sat at -96 dBV. Signal routing was handled by true hardwire bypass, leaving the guitar's signal path unaffected when the effect was disengaged.
