Description
Dunlop positioned the MXR M300-U Reverb as a full-featured digital reverb pedal offering six distinct reverb styles in a single unit. It sat within MXR's effects line as a studio-grade reverb solution aimed at players requiring broad tonal range from one pedal.
The M300-U featured a hi-fi analog dry path with 20 volts of headroom, keeping the unprocessed signal in the analog domain while the reverb processing ran at a 96 kHz sampling rate. Six reverb styles were available on board, with controls to tailor the reverb sound. The pedal required a 9-volt DC power supply drawing 240 mA, with an input impedance of 1 MΩ and an output impedance of 100 Ω. Maximum input and output levels both reached +5 dBV, and the noise floor measured -107 dBV.
Owners sourcing a replacement power supply should confirm the 9V DC centre-negative standard before purchasing; for internal servicing, bypass switch replacement, or jack work, a qualified guitar technician will be best placed to advise on compatible parts.
