Description

DigiTech produced the FS3X-U as a three-button footswitch designed to extend hands-free control over compatible DigiTech units. It sat in the accessory line as a practical add-on for players who needed to manage functions such as model or mode switching, loop selection, and auto start/stop triggering without reaching for the host device.

The chassis is metal, housing three footswitches and a single quarter-inch input. A 10-foot stereo TRS cable was included with each unit. The compact footprint was suited to pedalboard placement or transport in a gig bag.

Owners sourcing a replacement TRS cable should note the stereo (TRS) termination requirement — a standard mono cable will not carry the full signal. For any wiring, switch replacement or compatibility questions specific to the host unit, a qualified guitar technician or electronics repair technician is the appropriate resource.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
