Cort built the AF510-M-OP as part of its Standard Series acoustic line, positioning it as an all-mahogany concert-body instrument finished in an open-pore natural treatment. The open-pore surface was a deliberate construction choice, leaving the wood grain unsealed to allow the top and body to vibrate with minimal finish damping.
The guitar was constructed with a dovetail neck joint and Advanced X-Bracing across its African Mahogany (Okoume) top, back, and sides. The neck itself is Mahogany (Palaquium), joined to a Merbau fretboard carrying 20 frets with dot inlays. The bridge is also Merbau. Coated strings were fitted from the factory.
Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the Merbau fretboard and bridge are less common materials than rosewood or ebony; a qualified luthier can advise on compatible replacement saddles, nuts, and bridge pins suited to this instrument's specifications.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
