Cort built the AD-MINI-M-OP as part of the Standard Series, the brand's longest-running acoustic line, positioning it as a 3/4-scale dreadnought intended for beginners and hobbyists. The reduced body size made it a practical instrument for players requiring a smaller format without stepping outside the dreadnought family.
The guitar featured an all-African Mahogany (Okoume) construction across the top, back and sides, paired with a Mahogany (Palaquium) neck. A natural open-pore finish was applied directly to the wood, allowing the mahogany to resonate without a heavy surface coating. Cort braced the top with Advanced X-Bracing. The fretboard and bridge were both Merbau, the neck joined the body via a dovetail joint, and the nut measured 43mm (1 5/8") at the shortened 578mm (22.8") scale. Dot inlays marked the fretboard positions, a White Pearl Acryl rosette ringed the soundhole, and 19 frets were available. A gig bag was included with the instrument.
