Description

Ampeg positioned the PN-210HLF-U within its Pro Neo line as a lightweight, high-output 2x10 bass enclosure designed to pair with powerful Ampeg bass heads. It was designed and assembled in the U.S.A.

The cabinet housed two custom-designed 10-inch neodymium Eminence woofers alongside a single Eminence HF driver. It carried an RMS power handling of 550 watts at 8 ohms, a sensitivity rating of 97 dB SPL at 1W/1m, and a maximum SPL of 124 dB. Frequency response was rated at 70 Hz–10 kHz (±3 dB), with a usable low frequency extension of 40 Hz (−10 dB). The enclosure measured 18.0 in × 22.8 in × 17.3 in (including feet) and weighed approximately 44 lb.

Owners sourcing replacement drivers, HF components, or cabinet hardware should verify part numbers against the original Eminence specifications and consult a qualified guitar or bass technician for installation and re-voicing work.

The owner archive

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
