Description

Ampeg positioned the Heritage SVT-410HLF as a premium, full-range bass speaker cabinet within the Heritage line, designed and assembled in the U.S.A. It sat above standard production cabinets, drawing on Ampeg's SVT heritage to deliver what the company described as full-range tone for working bassists.

The cabinet houses four custom-designed Eminence 10" speakers rated at 125 watts each, complemented by an Eminence high-frequency driver. Combined RMS power handling reaches 500 watts, with a peak rating of 1000 watts, at a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Sensitivity is rated at 98 dB SPL at 1W/1m. The enclosure measures 24.0 in (H, with feet) × 30.0 in (W) × 19.0 in (D) and weighs approximately 76 lb. Frequency response is specified at 48 Hz – 18 kHz (±3 dB), with usable low-frequency extension down to 28 Hz at −10 dB.

Owners sourcing replacement drivers should note the cabinet's use of custom-designed Eminence 10" and HF components; a qualified guitar or bass technician can advise on compatible substitutes and help verify reconed or replacement drivers meet the original impedance and power ratings.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
