The nut clamping block sits between the locking nut saddle and the string, gripping each course at the headstock end so string movement at the tuning peg is removed from the tuning equation entirely. When a block strips, cracks, or goes missing, the lock fails and the whole system chases pitch. This is a set of three steel blocks in gold finish, part of the Floyd Rose Original series, part number FRNCBGP.

Fit is decided by two things: neck width at the nut slot and fretboard radius. Neither one is forgiving. A block that is the right material and the right brand still will not work correctly if the nut it sits in was sized for a different neck. Floyd Rose grades its locking nuts by width — R2, R3, R4 and so on — and the clamping blocks are matched to that sizing. Do not order by guitar model. Measure the nut you have, or pull the size designation from the nut itself before ordering.

These blocks are steel with a gold finish, matched to Floyd Rose Original series hardware. If you are replacing blocks on a chrome or black nut, this finish will not match — check your existing hardware before adding to cart.
