These are the three steel clamping blocks that sit between the locking nut saddle plate and the string-locking screws on a Floyd Rose Original locking nut. When a block strips, cracks, or goes missing, the nut cannot clamp evenly — one or two strings slip under load while the rest hold. Replacing the full set of three restores even clamping pressure across all six strings.

Before ordering, confirm that your guitar has a Floyd Rose Original series locking nut — not a licensed copy, not a Special or 1000 series. These blocks are made to the Original spec. Beyond that, the nut itself has to match your neck: Floyd Rose sizes locking nuts by width (R2, R3, R4 and so on), and the nut must also match your fretboard radius. Too flat a radius and the outer strings sit proud of the block face; too narrow and the strings crowd the fretboard edge. Neither problem is fixable with clamp pressure. Measure the nut slot width and check your radius before you order, rather than guessing from the model name.
