The Floyd Rose Hollow Point Intonation System (FRHPCP) replaces the standard saddle inserts on a double-locking tremolo to make intonation adjustments faster and more repeatable. The core problem it addresses: repositioning saddles on a floating tremolo while maintaining pitch and tension is awkward with stock hardware. The Hollow Point inserts change how you interact with the saddle during that process, and the included hex wrenches and set screws are sized for the job. Each set contains six intonation inserts, six threaded set screws, and three hex wrenches.
Fit is not universal. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware is series-specific — parts that look identical across generations are cut to different dimensions. Before ordering, confirm the exact tremolo system installed in the guitar, not just the brand name on the baseplate. If you are not certain which series is in your instrument, measure before you order.
The inserts are machined from solid brass with a chrome finish. Brass adds mass at the saddle relative to the stock insert material, which affects sustain and resonance. The finish matches chrome-hardware Floyd Rose bridges.
If you are not certain this is the correct part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm it fits before you commit to the order.
