A complete double-locking tremolo kit in black. The FRTNFTB ships as a unit: bridge, saddles, block, springs and claw, mounting studs, locking nut, screw-in arm, and all installation hardware. Nothing else needs to be sourced. This is the Non-Fine Tuner series, which means tuning adjustments happen at the locking nut rather than at the saddle — tune up, lock the nut, done. If you rely on saddle fine tuners, this is not your unit.
String count and mounting style are the two things that decide whether this fits before anything else. This is a 6-string unit; it will not accommodate 7 or 8 strings. Beyond that, the guitar's existing routing, stud spacing and neck angle all have to be right. A recessed installation needs a rear cavity; a top-mount does not. If you are replacing a non-locking bridge with this system, that is a routing job — the body will need to be cut. Dropping this into a guitar already routed for a Floyd Rose is a different conversation from retrofitting it onto a hardtail or a vintage-style tremolo. Measure the stud spacing and check the route before ordering.
The baseplate and saddles are hardened steel. The block is zinc. The arm is stainless steel, as are the screws; the springs are coiled steel. The zinc block is worth knowing about: it is period-correct for this series, but if you are chasing a specific sustain characteristic or replacing a brass or steel block, the material difference is real.
