Description

These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo — the small clamping blocks that grip each string at the bridge and take the tuning load every time the arm returns to rest. If a saddle is cracked, stripped at the lock screw, or corroded to the point where string seating is inconsistent, this is the part that fixes it.

Fit is series-specific. These saddles are cut for the 1000 Series and do not drop into other Floyd Rose generations, even when the parts look nearly identical side by side. The set covers all six strings because mixing worn saddles with new ones leaves the string heights inconsistent across the board — the radius ends up uneven and the setup won't sit right. If you are only replacing one damaged saddle, you still need to match the series exactly; if your remaining five are heavily worn, replacing the set together is the cleaner fix.

The saddles are hardened steel with a black nickel finish. Hardened steel resists the deformation that happens at the string contact point over time — soft saddle material is a common cause of tuning drift that looks like a spring or nut problem but lives right here at the bridge block.

If you are not certain this is the correct series for your bridge, send us your guitar's make, model and year and we'll confirm the fit before you order.
