Ibanez produced the GB10NT as part of its GB Signature Series, positioning it as a hollow body electric guitar within that dedicated artist line. The Natural finish is indicated in the product name.
The instrument was built around a spruce top with maple back and sides, paired with a three-piece maple neck set into the body. The bound ebony fretboard carries acrylic and abalone block inlays across 22 medium frets, finished with Ibanez's Prestige fret edge treatment. Hardware runs throughout in gold, including the ebony bridge, GB10 tailpiece, and a half-bone/half-brass nut at 43mm width. Pickups are a matched pair of GB Special humbuckers — one at the neck, one at the bridge — both passive Alnico units. The scale length runs 628mm (24.7"), string spacing at the bridge sits at 10.4mm, and the fretboard radius is 305mm. Factory stringing is standard E-to-E tuning with a .011–.050 gauge set.
Owners researching setup adjustments, fret work, or period-correct replacement parts — including the ebony bridge, GB10 tailpiece, or half-bone/half-brass nut — should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with hollow body instruments of this construction.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
