Ibanez built the GB10EMAA as part of the GB Signature Series, positioning it as a hollow body electric guitar within that line. The model carried the designation GB10EM and was finished in Antique Amber.
The guitar was constructed with a spruce top over linden back and sides, joined to a Nyatoh neck via a set-in joint. The bound walnut fretboard featured acrylic block inlays and carried 22 medium frets at a 305mm radius, with a 43mm nut width and a 628mm (24.7") scale length. Neck thickness measured 20mm at the first fret and 22mm at the ninth. String spacing at the bridge was 10.4mm. Hardware was finished in chrome throughout, including the VT14 tailpiece with its GB10EM wood cover. Both the neck and bridge positions were loaded with Magic Touch-Mini humbucker pickups — passive, Alnico units. The walnut bridge accepted the factory-specified .011–.050 string set in standard tuning.
Owners sourcing replacement parts — including the walnut bridge, VT14 tailpiece, or Magic Touch-Mini pickups — should verify dimensions against their specific instrument before ordering. A qualified luthier or guitar technician can assist with setup, nut replacement, or any structural work on the hollow body construction.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
