Ibanez built the AG75BS as part of the AG Series, positioning it as a hollow body electric guitar within the Artcore line. The AG Series was designed to offer hollow body construction under the Artcore family of instruments.
The guitar is built with a Linden top, back, and sides, paired with an AG Artcore Nyatoh set-in neck. The bound Walnut fretboard carries acrylic block inlays across 22 medium frets at a 305mm radius, with a 43mm nut width and a 628mm (24.7") scale length. A Gibraltar Performer bridge with 10.5mm string spacing pairs with a VT60 tailpiece. Pickups are a matched pair of Classic Elite humbucker units in neck and bridge positions, both passive ceramic designs. Hardware throughout is finished in chrome. The guitar ships in standard E-to-E tuning with a .010–.052 string set.
Owners sourcing replacement parts — including bridge saddles compatible with the Gibraltar Performer, a VT60-pattern tailpiece, or humbucker-sized pickup covers — should cross-reference Ibanez Artcore AG Series component specifications and consult a qualified guitar technician for installation and setup guidance.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
